RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

How many molecules are in 7.90 moles of CH4? \[1.31~x~10^{−23}~molecules\] \[7.62~x~10^{22}~molecules\] \[4.76~x~10^{24}~molecules\] \[2.30~x~10^{25}~molecules\] I got D

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Alright now that it definitely says molecules instead of atoms i think i can help with this question correctly.. 1 mole = 6.022x10^23 molecules so 7.90moles x 6.022x10^23molecules/mole = ?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

oh It is C :)

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

I think if the question was asking for the number of atoms then it would be D.

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

because you would multiply your answer by 5

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

oh ok
