OpenStudy (kaiiskool):

Geometry help please? I'll fan and medal Which of the following is not a property of mathematical proofs? deductive reasoning inductive reasoning true premises conclusion I think that it is conclusion because it is a phrase commonly used in math, but thats just me

OpenStudy (sprattfield):

It is conclusion

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Very rough (but useful) definitions: Deductive Reasoning - Series of "true" things leading to a conclusion. Inductive Reasoning - Collection of "true" things leading to a likely or probable conclusion. Notice how they BOTH lead to some conclusion. Thus, "conclusion" is not a good choice. It differentiates nothing.

OpenStudy (kaiiskool):

Thanks! I apprciatte the both of you. So the answer would actually be true premises?
