OpenStudy (trippy420):

The average dimension for the radius of an atom is 1.31 x 10^-8 cm and the average radium of the nucleus is 1.08 x 10^-14 cm. Determine the ratio of atomic volume to nuclear volume. (assume the atom to be spherical and V= (4/3)3.14r^3)

OpenStudy (frostbite):

You have been given all information you need to calculate the volume for respectively the nucleus and the atom. Ones you have calculated the volumes then simply take the ratio by doing dividing the atomic volume with the nuclear volume. and represent it like: ?:1
