Choose the correct domain of the function in interval notation. (-∞, ∞) [-1, ∞) (-∞, -1] (-∞, 1]
SERIOUSLY? dOMAIN
domain is the x values, range is the y values
lol @princeharryyy
LOL FOR? DO U THINK I DON'T KNOW THE DEFINITIONS.
the definitions were for @evansanchez but you are right it is not hard to find the domain
you guys confused me.
:)
how??
is it D?
range is [-1,infinte)
considering the graph doesn't end at that top.
domain (-infinte, infinite) again considering the graph doesn't end on left and right.
here are some tips: We use parenthesis when a value is not included in the interval, and brackets when the value is included in the interval. For functions that have an unlimited domain or range, we use infinity ∞ or negative infinity -∞ to show that the limit of the function is unknown. For a solution that includes positive or negative infinity, parenthesis is used to close the infinite side of the solution.
