@triciaal

iYuko (iyuko):

We will have to use some information from the last question

iYuko (iyuko):

I have all the numbers and work from the part a. Where do I start on part b?

iYuko (iyuko):

If you can tell me how to start I will do it and you can check.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

good I covered some of this already using the coordinates of D and E we find the measure of DE using the coordinates of A and C we find the measure of AC DE/AC = 1/2 therefore DE is 1/2 AC (DB)^2 +( BE)^2 = (DE)^2 (AB)^2 + (BC)^2 =(AC)^2 (DB) = (AB)/2 likewise (BE)= 1/2 (BC)

OpenStudy (triciaal):

the above is not necessarily in order said use coordinate proof so may need to use the ratios

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@mathmate can you put this in order for coordinate proof please?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@iYuko do you understand the basic idea of what needs to be done?

iYuko (iyuko):

Not entirely.
