Which conducts electricity better in an aqueous situation? Magnesium chloride Methanol Ammonia Hydrogen peroxide

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Which molecule/compound ionizes in solution to form positive and negatively charged ions?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

Remember, a compound that conducts electricity well in an aqueous solution is called a STRONG electrolyte. Strong electrolytes are able to completely split into anions and cations (basically, the compound breaks up). Strong electrolytes fall into three categories: Strong acids, strong bases, and salts (since they are ionic compounds and release strong electric charges that are capable of conducting electricity). Strong bases are also ionic. Then, strong acids are more adept at donating their protons in solutions, which is why they are more effective at conducting electricity. We can therefore take each of these choices and determine their ability to completely ionize and dissociate into anions and cations in water.

@Jamierox4ev3r if only I could give two metals because your answer has helped me a lot as well!
