Bearclaws72:

Try out the new feature fools

Bearclaws72:

Basically we are mining crypto currency so make sure if you have questions or issues message me or @Ultrilliam or @Angle . If you choose to help QC out in this way thank you very much and happy mining :D

Bearclaws72:

@AngeI

Bearclaws72:

1) Click menu and select help QC here you can choose the amount of CPU you want to donate to QC's mining operation.

Bearclaws72:

2) Once you've selected how much CPU you wanna use *Note that the higher the CPU you give the more you are likely to experience issues* You can now keep track of how many Hashes you've mined :D

Bearclaws72:

Don't quote me on this but depending on how much you mine you will be able to earn prizes such as Tags.

Ultrilliam:

Bear... Bear... Bear... This is what it looks like for those who haven't enabled it yet:

*Autistic Screeching*

Ultrilliam:

No no no no! NO!

Bearclaws72:

No

Bearclaws72:

Its not at all mandatory

Ultrilliam:

This is completely optional and even says it doesn't cost money right on it x'D

Ultrilliam:

The core functionality of the site will always be free :)

ILovePuppiesLol:

invest in ripple and stellarlumens

Pixel:

how do you mine like wth

Bearclaws72:

We are mining Monero I think right @Ultrilliam ?

Ultrilliam:

Yea currently, you can see this all on the FAQ page

Ultrilliam:

https://questioncove.com/mining

ILovePuppiesLol:

ripple is set to jump to at least 2 dollars by the end of next year, how much will u put in ultri

Bearclaws72:

You need bitcoin to invest in it ._.

Bearclaws72:

Or at least a percentage of bitcoin

ILovePuppiesLol:

you can buy bitcoins by fractions

Ultrilliam:

Will my 0.001 bitcoin let me invest in it? LOL

Ultrilliam:

But anyway

Pixel:

who is mle

Bearclaws72:

Ive personally invested in Litecoin

Pixel:

nvm

AngeI:

Pixel, you see they use the currency to pay for miners. Who then mine diamonds and diamonds are valuable. They also need to use the currency to buy warriors to protect the miners from creepers and stuffs. Then with the diamonds Ultri becomes rich and no longer needs us so he backstabs us all </3

ILovePuppiesLol:

litecoin is good to invest in too

Pixel:

well im doing it

Bearclaws72:

Me and Ultri watched litecoin jump XD

Pixel:

at 90%

Pixel:

also what are hashes

Pixel:

sorry 69%

ILovePuppiesLol:

jay, u should invest in ripple and stellar lumens, you dont have to put much in

ILovePuppiesLol:

just trust me and give me 15 percent after it jumps crazy

Ultrilliam:

x'D

Ultrilliam:

Hmmm how to explain hashes

Bearclaws72:

Man thats a hard one

Ultrilliam:

Indeed.

Bearclaws72:

Think of it as what you are mining for like points sort of

Bearclaws72:

eh not really :/

Pixel:

Okay EXpierence

Ultrilliam:

But anyway, the just of it is, for a bit of your CPU, your helping pay for QC to keep it running. (as we don't have any form of advertisements it's difficult to fund the site) building on what bear said: Think of hashes like a point system, the more you get, the more you can spend in the mine shop (where you can get rewards for mining) As well as the more you help QC.

Pixel:

got it

Pixel:

i have 1k rn ;ooo

Bearclaws72:

There is also a leaderboard :P

Pixel:

ik

Bearclaws72:

Oh yah XD sorry

Pixel:

Bearclaws72:

Should I close the post now?

Pixel:

no

Bearclaws72:

eh alright

Pixel:

so what do we get for doing this

Pixel:

@Ultrilliam

Ultrilliam:

To be determined. Were tossing around ideas between tags or subscriptions to QC (subs to QC ofcs come with your own group chat/custom theme designer/and a custom tag)

Ultrilliam:

Not to mention helping to keep the site running lel

Bearclaws72:

But its gonna take a crap ton of hashes to earn any of that

Bearclaws72:

So don't expect to mine for a day and get everything.

Pixel:

well mle has a crap ton

MLE^

Bearclaws72:

mLe is running off of like 8 computers

Ultrilliam:

x'D

Pixel:

*applauds*

Pixel:

what if i use diff browsers ;o

Bearclaws72:

It only mines multiple times if you are on another device

Pixel:

darn

Ultrilliam:

If you have more then one browser open, it might help, or it might crash your computer.

Pixel:

well i have 4 pcs an xbox a phone and 2 tablets

Ultrilliam:

However you can only have 1 tab of it running in the same browser x'D Also it can't run on mobile devices (i disabled that)

Pixel:

WOW

Pixel:

why

Ultrilliam:

While it can technically run on mobile devices, it's probably not the best idea.

Bearclaws72:

Crash city M8

mLe:

https://prnt.sc/hnouqg I've had a slow day

563blackghost:

It's really hard to invest and especially mine considering some may be scams. My family and I have been mining since June of last year (i think....). When we started it was at about 1,400 now its 17,000 like a big increase overtime. We had about 0.5 satoshis but we kinda lost....now we currently have about 0.02 in bitcoin and 700 in manaero. Very low but if it goes higher then that's good XD

563blackghost:

There was one site that we had invested in but it turned out it was a scam....lost 500 from it ;u;

563blackghost:

Running at 5 hashes is ok...you'd be lucky if you ran at 30 hashes...

mLe:

You can think of Hashes like math problems... For example: When someone is sending (cryptocurrency) from one person to another; the question asked is: Is it really you sending the money? >.> So when the money is being sent, it is locked and jumbled with a code. Each transaction is a hash. Un-jumbling the information takes math and computer powers. The un-jumbling process is called solving the hash, or mining. When you are the first person to solve the hash (many people are trying to solve it at the same time), you get a reward of (that cryptocurrency). tl;dr Mining = solving math problems for money

563blackghost:

monero :P

Ultrilliam:

FINALLY YOU SPELLED IT RIGHT =P

mLe:

yeah, I was just saying the mining thing works pretty much the same for most cryptocurrencies... monero is what QuestionCove is mining at the moment because of how profitable it is compared to it's difficulty (e.g. bitcoin's math problems are so hard you need dedicated super computers to solve them)

Bearclaws72:

@Elsa213

Elsa213:

Seems stinky fishy to me.

Bearclaws72:

@SkyVoltage43 Read my parts and Ultris

SkyVoltage43:

its saying i need to white list the mining how do i do this?

Elsa213:

By white listing the mining, boi. e.e

Ultrilliam:

Is it adblock or some sort of antivirus that is blocking it?

SkyVoltage43:

both ig but i will start mining tomorrow im tired
