“$750!” It was almost Christmas time, and Logan Brahms needed to get a gift for his wife, Greta Brahms. Greta loved her apple watch. The only problem was she didn’t have a phone to go with it. Unfortunately, he didn’t have enough money to buy it though. “All I have is this,” he said as he laid down a wad of 20 dollar bills that added up to $500. He had been saving up to buy his wife the Apple iPhone XR. However, he did not think that it would cost this much.
“Sorry, I can’t negotiate the prices. This isn’t the 1900’s it’s the 2000’s,” the cashier at Walmart said. “How about this phone though? It’s only $489.”
“Never mind, I will just come back at a later date. Thank you for your help!” He said as he walked down the street as sadly as a dog that just did something wrong. “At this rate, I’m never going to be able to find a present for Greta.”
“I’m home Greta!” he yelled as he walked in the house later that night out of the pouring rain. Greta was in the kitchen cooking. “What’s for dinner? Man, it’s raining cats and dogs out there. If it doesn’t stop, I am going to need an ark.”
Let’s take a moment to discuss facts about Greta and Logan Brahms. Firstly, they have been married for 2 years, they married after they graduated from college, and Greta is pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. She was only 4 months pregnant, but they were counting down the days to when she was going to have the twins. Greta thought Logan was a sight to see. He was tall, 6 foot 2, with brown hair, and hazel eyes. Greta always told her friends that Logan was a giant because of how tall he is. Logan didn’t think any less of Greta than she thought of him. Logan thought Greta was the most beautiful person inside and out. Although Logan was tall, Greta was pretty short. She was only 5 foot 9, but she was average height for her age, 26, the same age as Logan. Greta was a blonde haired woman with eyes like blue ice. Both of them were very nice, smart, and curious people. No matter where they were, they wanted to know everything about everything. Also, they respected every soul no matter how rude they were to them, including their bosses. Speaking of which, Greta was a teacher at Grandview Elementary, the Elementary school in their hometown Higginsville, Missouri, and Logan was a car dealer for Nissan. Let’s get back to the story now.
