Writing Prompt: Read the letter to the editor “I, Too, Have a Dream.” How does the writer use structure and language to persuade her readers and support her feelings about immigration? Write an essay using evidence from the letter to answer the question.

Thesis Statement: The author of this letter (Brittany Taylor) uses her experience, also a helpful language to talk the reader into agree with her beliefs about immigration, she also uses pathos and ethos to convince the reader to help the DACA program.

Topic Sentence:Brittany Taylor uses figurative language such as metaphors and other figurative language to tell the audience why DACA shouldn’t be closed.
