Hi, please show me how to solve this problem. A compound consists of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and bromine. In one experiment it was found that compound consisted of 14.1% C and 1.48% H. In another experiment 4.60 g of the compound contained 3.24 g of bromine. Using a mass spectrometer the molar mass of this compound was found to be ~ 1025 g/mol. What are the empirical and molecular formulas for this compound?
