Aqual:

Aqual:

Aqual:

I need guidance

Aqual:

I'm not good at DBQs

Aqual:

@Shadow

Eiwoh2:

So you'll need to analyze these documents and be able to gather enough information to be able to write an essay, correct? Which section is troubling you specifically?

Aqual:

Collecting the important information essay worthy.

Aqual:

I need to include at least 3 of the documents in my essay.

jordangantt12:

Well whatever Eiwoh2 can't help you with let me know.

Aqual:

kk

Eiwoh2:

Ah, all right. Well, I'd suggest by starting to read over the documents and sources, see what they say. That part is pretty basic. In choosing the documents you will include in your essay, I suggest taking three of the ones that you're able to understand the most. Just read over those, make sure you understand them well, and include the info provided. And cite the sources, which I see are provided above the documents.

Aqual:

ok i have this from document f

Aqual:

but thats it

Eiwoh2:

Those are some good notes based on the information. From Document F, I see that it's a chart comparing effects of the Black Death in different locations. It'll be good to note those comparisons in the essay if you will use them. And once you're done sourcing that info, remember to cite it at the end. :)

Aqual:

oh yeah, thx

Eiwoh2:

You're welcome. Anything else you're confused or curious about?

Aqual:

Its the only one I understand.

Aqual:

I need help analyzing two others

Aqual:

which ones should i pick?

bruhman7624:

discussion based question?

Aqual:

yes

Aqual:

document actually

Aqual:

Document based question

Eiwoh2:

Document K seems fairly simple, since it's only one source. And the information in it greatly connects to the topic of the Black Death. The first few lines, especially the first one, would be a great line to include- as long as the source is cited in the end.

Eiwoh2:

Just note down the lines that speak to you the most in that one, if you understand them, and include it in. That's one that's possible to include.

Aqual:

Ok

Aqual:

some of the words i dont understand in that one

Aqual:

depraved, stipends, benefices, contrite.

Eiwoh2:

And Document N looks like a unique one. It shows a photograph, even. Though it is about the Black Death, it speaks a lot about the Jews topic. If you're determined enough, you can go with that one and perhaps get some extra credit off the picture if you include it.

Eiwoh2:

Well, if we're talking Doc K and the first line, then "depraved" is basically another way of saying "evil."

Aqual:

ok

Eiwoh2:

The whole source is speaking about how people, despite the Black Death, kept working and not focusing on the fact they could possibly die from this worldwide pandemic.

Eiwoh2:

If you don't understand what some words means, you could always look it up and find synonyms for it. :)
