Ali and Jake went on a cross-country trip. They took a train part of the way, and took a bus the rest of the way. They traveled a total of 1200 kilometers, riding on the train 360 more kilometers than on the bus. let x = kilometers traveled by bus let x = Kilometers traveled by train How many kilometers did they travel by train?

darkknight:

not correct

darkknight:

Basically they travel a total of 1200 kilo. if x is the kilo travelled by a bus, and they travel 360 more kilo on a train. then we can set an equation up of x + (x+360) = 1200 If you solve for x you get kilo traveled on bus. Now if you need to solve for the train just add 360 to your x value

lilson679:

what is the answer

dragonalpha:

seriously

lilson679:

yes seriously
