well i learned them alr today but i'm just still confused on how to do it
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @ohyhyh i put it in the calculator it says 106.. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) You actually got the right answer.
But you need to know how right?
told yuh
but i respect needing an explanation
wait so i think ik how andi thought you werent supposed to use a calculator for these seeing as they are complex (imaginary) numbers....
i just searched it up on google and it gave me that
on the calc
yeah but imaginary numbers aren't supposed to be found with a calculator i thought
idrk. im doing 7th grade advanced so... your older
Its 9^2 + 5^2 = 106 because the I variable cancels out.
prob smarter to lol
I not the best at imaginary numbers lol so you can check in with other people if you need more clarification. Hope this helps though.
so the -5 doesn't mean anything ? or are you talking ab -25i^2 and since i^2 is -1 then -25 * -1 is 25 and 81+25 is 106?
im out of answers. this is all the other guy
now haha
i'll just ask dude lol, ty tho
np
Ok sounds good. Sorry I couldn't help more
rip
(9+5i)(9-5i) use formula a^2 -b^2 = (a-b)(a+b) 9^2 - (-5i)^2 i^2 = -1 and (-5)(-5)= 25 => = -25 81 - (-25) = 81 +25 = 106 @mxddi3
