maybe can be used this usefully

\[\tan \theta = \frac{ \sin \theta }{ \cos \theta } \]

\[\cot \theta = \frac{ 1 }{ \tan \theta } = \frac{ 1 }{ \frac{ \sin \theta }{ \cos \theta }} = \frac{ \cos \theta }{ \sin \theta } \]
