I'll throw in colors for you \(\Large\text{Slope} = \dfrac{\color{green}{y_2} - \color{orange}{y_1}}{\color{cyan}{x_2}-\color{red}{x_1}}\) where you have two points \(\Large (\color{red}{x_1}, \color{orange}{y_1})\) and \(\Large (\color{cyan}{x_2}, \color{green}{y_2})\) So your two points are \((\color{red}{0}, \color{orange}{-6})\) and \((\color{cyan}{3}, \color{green}{3})\)

AZ:

\(\bf \large Slope = m = \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) \(\large (x_1, y_1)\) \(\large (0, -6)\) and \(\large (x_2, y_2)\) \(\large (3, 3)\) \(\large x_1 = 0\) \(\large y_1 = -6\) \(\large x_2 = 3\) \(\large y_2 = 3\) Can you put the numbers into the equation now?

werewolf:

C i believe

TETSXPREME:

no its a neg

TETSXPREME:

C? i think

AZ:

how'd you get that or did you just copy @werewolf 's incorrect answer

AZ:

did you take a moment to try to understand anything I posted at all

TETSXPREME:

No i meant B

TETSXPREME:

she distracted me

TETSXPREME:

or he

AZ:

and how did you get B

TETSXPREME:

i meant A*

AZ:

and how did you get A

TETSXPREME:

Bruh how is that not correct?

TETSXPREME:

It has a - It has 2 be either A or b

AZ:

it could be correct, I just want to know how you get it

AZ:

Why A or B? Does the slope look positive or negative to you?

TETSXPREME:

Because ur colors helped me alot

Rylee88:

You have to explain how you got your answer (Elaborate) How/Why did you get that answer.

AZ:

Hint:

TETSXPREME:

it looks +

Rylee88:

Other wise it could just be a guess.

AZ:

is -3 and -1/3 a positive number or a negative number?

TETSXPREME:

negative

TETSXPREME:

I know the answer now

TETSXPREME:

But i thought it was supposed to be a fraction

AZ:

but you don't actually know how to do it

TETSXPREME:

no i dont

TETSXPREME:

i just saw ur colors and did them

TETSXPREME:

Answer is D B)

AZ:

No. If you followed my colors and did it then you would have gotten the right answer the first time around |dw:1635894438610:dw|

TETSXPREME:

so i only thing i do not get is how do we get the points

AZ:

they gave you those points in the image on your graph (3, 3) and (0,-6)

TETSXPREME:

but how do yk which one is y and which one is x?

TETSXPREME:

if itss under x then its x? and above x its y?

AZ:

points are always written (x, y) the first number is x the second number is y

AZ:

when you have multiple points, to separate them we just add numbers the first point - (x1, y1) the second point - (x2, y2)

TETSXPREME:

first number? how will know which ones first and which ones second?

AZ:

(0 ,-6) what number do you see first? 0 zero z-e-r-o so that's the x-value of the point the second number SECOND second means the thing that comes after the first the second number is -6 so that's the y-value

TETSXPREME:

ooh so the answer is b

TETSXPREME:

i meant D*

AZ:

yes

TETSXPREME:
