Not really, I've been pretty stressed so I guess I haven't been paying more attention in class..

jhonyy9:

He surveys the first 10 customers on a Monday morning. what mean this ?

jhonyy9:

to estimate the percentage of his customers who like orange juice. how you can calcule percentage ?

chuckthedonut:

I use the is/of strategy to do stuff with percents..

jhonyy9:

He surveys the first 10 customers suppose from these 10 customers like orange juice 4 persons using the rule of 3 simple you can write from 10 customers like oj. 4 pers from 100 cust. like oj. x pers and cross muliplie than calcule x x = (100*4)/10 = ? %

chuckthedonut:

40%

jhonyy9:

exactly but do you understand the way now ?

In between, how do I choose my answers if I have 40%

chuckthedonut:

How does that help me choose answers? I'm very confused, I'm sorry.

jhonyy9:

what is the question of your posted problem ?

jhonyy9:

chuckthedonut:

It says pick all that apply, is that the only one?

jhonyy9:

and again i think make sens c. and d. too

jhonyy9:

yes ?

jhonyy9:

d) The only way the manager can estimate the percentage is to ask every customer throughout the week. no this is false bc. not is the only way

chuckthedonut:

Ohhh, so that means a?

jhonyy9:

i think a. and c.

chuckthedonut:

@jhonyy9 wrote:

d doesn't make sense for this situation, so it's for sure not d

jhonyy9:

chuckthedonut:
