for the things you took
from my body as a child.
a small child who longed
to be someone,

someone who could walk outside
and see clouds forming characters
. someone who could draw
on the sidewalk with chalk
but no I am someone
someone, who will never be like that

I will always be the girl
the girl, who could not speak up
about being hurt.

this reminds me of a book i've read. the focal point is literally the exact same. I understand but I cant say its felt bc I'll never know how it feels to b put in that position. I really like the poem though, good job.
