Vivi4n:

Question: Explain the process of plate tectonics and how it leads to the formation of mountains, earthquakes, and ocean trenches. Provide examples of where these features can be found and describe the types of plate interactions involved.

NathanMcLendon:

(I'm not a scientist, but here's what I know) Well, with mountains: when the plates push against each other, the land forms together, making the structure known as mountains. With earthquakes: when the plates rub against each other: the friction causes the ground to shake With ocean trenches: the ocean plates spread apart, they make deep trenches in the ocean

NathanMcLendon:

Hope that helps, dude/dudette
