dontcare:
look up Dallas county flag team. not flag foot ball it should show you what I'm talking about
SsTDOGRednek:
Oh alr... well. how about if you have the ball run?
Jaynater:
All I'm getting are results for flag football, but you said it's not flag football. Can you be more specific? Is "flag practice" color guard, handling of flags, or something else?
SsTDOGRednek:
Seems to me like its flag football... just saying

since im not in the colorguard team, i cant help much (srry!) but my school hosts the practice afterschool like 3 days a week for almost 2 hours (yeah lotta practicing) and the members are required to be there (unless good absence i think) and they practice indoors, outdoors, field, literally everywhere. sometimes they practice together, sometimes in small groups. theres also one-on-one teachings, and yeah.. just practice, practice, practice. thats it. and thats how they always get superior ratings and whatnot.
they also flip there things around whenever they have time, whether it be a pole stick from weight training, or just imaginary stuff
def need someone to check on them tho, to see if smthings wrong
or stand in one of those huge mirrors ig?

Imagine you're in a see-through box. My coach told us to use the box method. A box has four corners. Look at it like there are bottoms in. So, imagine the only way to get out of it is to hit them. Like, really hit them. You need to have force, but at the same time, control of how you are swinging the flag.
When you are in set, always count. It's a necessity. Having your toes pointed is also strongly needed. Let's say it's an 8 count, say, "Toe, heel, Toe, Heel, Toe heel." Not only it help with jazz walking, it also helps your brain not to go on autopilot. For my 3 years of doing color guard, this really helped me!!
