because they just do nothin much to it
xXAikoXx:
I'm still trying to figure that out... but right now, I believe it is mainly because they have mental illnesses themselves, so they cannot properly support a child's mental health if they havent fixed their own :/
xXAikoXx:
Parents also dont listen when their child expresses themselves openly and just make it seem like were crazy
xXAikoXx:
They think we have no idea how life works and theink we're naive

Thanks Aiko

they dont mess up our mental health its just that kids these days are just doing stupid things and dont want to face the consequenes and expect everything handed to them. Then they change their mental state and say everybody is out to get me and i need to kill my parents because they did this to me. So in reality it is the kids not the parents
SnowyBreaks:
Depends on the type of parent honestly, some parents are abusive and like to destroy their kids life, others just try and help. Most parents try and get the kids from doing what's wrong and get them to do what's right, If the parents are destroying your mental, they should tell another trusted adult.

Yea but many parents try that and give the kids everything so they wouldnt go through what the parent how to go through. And sometimes its just the kids that make one mistake and they go the wrong path and be like that forever.

well thats an easy question just stop being a sh.it head and your parents wont have to yell at you or beat you, just plain and simple.

Yes, that does happen sometimes. But if the kids really listened they wouldn't think "oh my mom or dad is so strict" or "my mom and dad are horrible parents" because of a simple mistake they did.

some parents usually ruin their kids mental health because they have past trauma they haven't gotten over. they're still trying to heal from it and aren't emotionally intelligent when it comes to supporting or taking care of their child. some parents don't really notice when they ruin their child's mental health because they're usually focused on themselves at times but as people have said it depends on the parent.
Sarahwells:
they want to estabilish that THEY have authority over you because they cant seem to get that over anyone else and they want to be the boss and have some control its like a little game to them and your the mouse its like when i was a kid, and i saw an ant. i would like continuisely not let them go anywhere blocking them whenever they tried to run away. i did this because i could. when there was a crack or something they would get away and i wouldnt do it. you need to estabilish that they
CANT and that you control the situation NOT them

This is definitely true however you can also look at it through an internal perspective. Any issues you refuse or ignore to fix for yourself in large will be passed on to the next generation. I know that healing from the generation before is part of that journey but in an objective point of view you are the only person you can help. It’s not an easy truth to understand but the more you realize it the easier it will become to tackle generational curses, negative mind traps, and behaviors
