Question

( a little something i wrote) being a teen is hard, Your to old to be acting like a child, but to young to be acting like an adult. parents are always saying "live your life because when you grow up, your freedom will go away" but yet your the one holding me back, your the one from living my life, so how do you expect me to live my life, when i cant even go out without knowing you'll get mad, and i dont want to do things behind your back, but its the only way to live my life. And you always say "oh i did this when i grew up and i did that, and i made alot of mistakes growing up and i dont want you to make those same mistakes like i did", but just because you made those mistakes, does not mean i will. And when you say " think twice when you hang around your so called friends", it Butteres me off because just cause you grew up with fake friends does not mean i will too, and i love you for taking care of me, but how will i learn to fly, when all you do is keep me in a cage, And you alwyas say. why are you on your phone. but what do you expect me to do when this home doesnt feel like a home anymore, what am i supposed to do when all you do is make me feel like i was the biggest mistake you created. This phone is not my distraction. This phone is my life, my support, my friends, music, my little escape on days that make me feel like giving up. so maybe dont always ask why are you on your phone. maybe just ask do you want to talk.
