why do most jobs require CPR cards

Sailor:

I believe when it comes to jobs in the healthcare field, it has something to do with having that specific skill set for emergencies. If a patient were to suddenly start choking or stop breathing for whatever reason, knowing CPR would be beneficial in order to get the person to start back breathing.

Ohhh I see. I’m guessing it’s just for the sake of being prepared for an emergency of some sort but I’m not entirely sure why a construction job would require one
