long time i was out of doing maths but i am going to start software engineering ,how can i overcome quickly

overcome? I'm not sure I get you but, maths is extremely useful in software engineering! A good S.E. doesn't spend his/her time writing inefficient code: you need maths to make a good analysis of an algorithm and possibly make some optimization. Also when it comes to what is called domain specific requirements, well someone with maths is likely to grasp things quickly! So if you're in a class, just follow up with what is being taught or if you're studying things yourself, start learning C and implement algorithms in it or MATLAB if you want to stay close (very?) to maths. Hope this was helpful

A good software engineering course will give you the math at good intervals. Optimizations through math don't really show up that often, but sometimes they can help out. The big thing is you will be asked to code math techniques you may or may not have heard of. and having a good basis in math will help you 'overcome' that.
