"solve the system by graphing"..can someone help me understand the line and slope, y=3x y=-3x+6? they showed the the graph, but its not what I came up with. is there an easy way to understand this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=3x slope of 3, intercept of 0. y=-3x+6 slope of -3 intercept of 6 Find the point they intersect = solution for the system (the answer should be x=2, y=6).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it should be x =1 and y = 3

Oh yeah.. oops. mental math fail. It should indeed be (1,3)
