hey guys! I'm on problem set 0 and it says the instructions on installing Python are covered in handouts.. is there any way to obtain by downloading any of handouts?
Go to the lectures section on the site and start watching the first lecture, one of the tabs below the video has the handouts for that video.
Actually, I think that pdf is at the top of the assignments page.
Oh right, for the first lecture they're with the assignmments. The later lectures have the handouts on the 'Related Resources' tab.
thanks Keen, somnamniac! Yeah now I got it, the handouts are available starting from the lecture 2 in the "Related Resources" tab. Funny thing to say, at first I started to make a Transcription of the lecture, I transcripted like 20 minutes than I saw the "Trascript" tab.. The professor was talking about making notes and I'm trying to figure out how do I make notes. First it was 100% exact words retyping.. now I guess i just write whatever pumps in my head during watching the video.. Another thing: is it as good to type notes as it is to write down on a piece of paper? Anyway I thinks this project is so great, I do hope it will always last to be reached openly and free..
I haven't read any studies, but I think that writing is better than typing. Depends on how you work though.
