The degree of a polynomial refers to the powers to which it is raised. The degree of \[x^2\] is 2. The degree of \[x^3\] is 3. In a polynomial with many terms, like the one you have listed, you add the degrees of each term. So in this case, it would be: 4+9+6+5+3 = 27. The polynomial is of degree 27.

Sorry, this is incorrect reasoning. Please disregard my solution, and check out the answer to the other question on this you posted. It is degree 9.
