how many faces does a pentagonal prism have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

should be 7 unless I'm visualizing this wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! and how many edges?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, it's 2 pentagons, so pentagons have 5 edges each

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Go to wikipedia and search "Pentagonal prism" Or go to http://www.wolframalpha.com and input "Pentagonal prism" -- both give pretty pictures. :)

WARNING: It should be used as a way to check HW. You'll never learn how to do the work without actually trying it out yourself. :) Feel free to post more questions and ask your school teacher questions as you have them.
