5+ radical 7 divided by 5- radical 7. simplify the expression.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(32 + 10 times (Rad 7)) divided by 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can't you reduce that answer to 16 + 5 times radical 7 divided by 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SO what I did was Multipiy the whole thing by 5 + Rad. 7 to get rid of the Rad. in teh denominator (5- Rad. 7) (5 + Rad.7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That gives me 25 + 7 on the denominator, not 12, I'm sorry! >.< On the numerator, I got (5 + Rad.7) square. = 25 + 10Rad.7 + 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isnt the denominator 25 - 7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yes, I was right the first time! ROFL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you got it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because you end up with 25 - radical 49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, yes! xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but in your answer you had (32 + 10 times (Rad 7)) divided by 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shouldnt it be divided by 18?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes....T.T My brain went dead sometimes! So you got it! ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then you can simplify it into 16 + 5 radical 7 divided by 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hanh, how would you find the derivative of e^2x/1+x?
