HELP! solve by factoring: 3x^2-5x=0

To factor: \[3x ^{2}-5x = 0\] Begin by factoring out the GCF (what they all have in common). For this one, the only thing you can take out is an x to get: \[x(3x-5)=0\] By the Zero Product Property, you can set x and 3x-5 equal to 0 and solve for x. Like this: \[x=0\] and \[3x-5=0\]. Solve for x on the second equation and you get: \[x=5/3\] Your solutions are x = 0 and 5/3.
