Heres a word problem on angles that i'm struggling with... one angle of a triangle measures 40 more than the smallest angle while the third angle is five times the smallest. Find the angles

put all in terms of X, and you know that the angles have to add to 180. So the smallest angle could be considered X, the next one can be 40+x, and the third one can be 5x. So x+40+x+5x=180 solve for X.
So you'll know the smallest angle is x, add 40 to X to get the next angle, then multiply X by 5 to get the last angle.
