any tricks to remembering a unit circle?
especially the radians?
Draw Circle with radius. If you are familiar with 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangle, just use that for remembering the unit circle
iknow the degree measurements..i have a quiz tomorrow and have to fill out the blank circle with cos, sin and radians. I just need tricks to remember how to fill it out
do you just need 90, 180, 370, 0 degrees, or all reference anglew
all reference angles
you only need to know three angle 30,45,60 for every else you can derive easily
If you know the values for 30,60,45 they will workfor all the angles, the signs will change depending what quadrant the angle is in
ok i got that what about the radians for each angle how do you remember those
remember that one radian is 180 degree. So always know what's the ratio between the angle and 180 and then stick radian. So If i were to find radian eqivilent of 90, I would find ration 90/180=1/2 stick radian sign 1/2 radian
so then 60/180 = pi/3
radian/3
pi/3 radian
what about tangent
iknow it is sin/cos but i cant divide radicals by radicals
So for example lets find tangent of 30 sin 30= 1/2 cos 30= sqrt(3)/2 1/2* 2/sqrt(3) 2/2sqrt(3)
