y" + y = 4t(e^t) I've attempted to solve using the undetermined coefficients method, but have been unsuccessful so far...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops, i should have added that im trying to solve for the particular equation, with the initial conditions y(0) = 0; y'(0) = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just curious, what class is this for and what have you been covering material wise up until now? Have you been strictly learning about derivatives or has your work involved matrices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Differential Equations. Mostly derivatives/antiderivatives, with the only real matrix work being the Wronskian and systems of equations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahhh, I would try to help, but I technically never took the differential equations. I went from calculus three into proof writing classes and then linear algebra.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry! I wish I could have helped.

it's cool, haha.
