a^2-4a-12/a^2-6a*9ab/3a+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this isnt a question...what do you want to do with this...? simplify it perhaps?

OpenStudy (kiddo):

i need to know the steps to simplify this equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm assuming there are no parentheses in this expression because none were written. I got: \[a^2-4a-12/a^2-18ab+6\] All you need to do is let the 6a / 3a reduce to 2. Multiply that by the remaining 9ab to get 18ab. Everything else seemed simplified.

OpenStudy (kiddo):

the problem is a^2-4a-12/a^2-6a*9ab/3a+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you can bring the two second parts together and just multiply them so it would be a^2-4a-12/3a^3-112(a^3)b+6(a^2)-224b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops bottom is a^3-112(a^3)b+6(a^2)-224(a^2)b
