differentiate f(x)=(1+ln(t))/(1-ln(t))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to use the quotient rule\[[ f \prime(x)*g(x)-g \prime(x)*f(x) ] / (g(x))^2\] both of your ln's will end up being 1/x 0r 1/t depending on whether it is f(t) or f(x). then sub in all of your values into the quotient.. The you have equation is in the form \[f(t)= f(x) / g(x)\]. The quotient rule says you have the derivative of the numerator * the denominator - the derivatieve of the denominator * the numerator all of that divided by the denominator squared.
