V = \[(\pi d ^{2}h) / 4\] so multiply d and h by 3 with any hypothetical numbers and see how much your volume increased...

compare that to the same hypothetical numbers without multiplying d and h by 3...

I got that it multiplies the volume 9 times!

If d is tripled it being squared that would be 9 but the height was also tripled that means 27. volume increased 27 times
