Can you show me how to divide the expression: (112a^0b^3c^-4) divided by (48a^3b^0c^3)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it is the same thing as "long division". I got no idea how to "show it" tho....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0^ anything is 0... So.. that would just be 0 / 48a^3b^0c^3 0 it is.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

b^0 is just a place holder that means "1" , if I recall correctly..

OpenStudy (amistre64):

wait..... I think I see the question now; I thought it was a division of sums....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

112 a^0 b^3 c^-4 ---------------- 48 a^3 b^0 c^3

OpenStudy (amistre64):

7 b^3 --------- would be the answer 3 a^3 c^7

OpenStudy (amistre64):

B^5 --- means B^(5-7) which equals: B^7 B^-2 which equals (1/B^2).

Totally radical dud..
