What is 3/5+4π in terms of π?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is there any multiple choices?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is it 3/5 of a circle? or what?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

as is; pi can be thought of as a variable; and since there are no like terms, it is what it is...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it was sin(t + 4π) and sin was equal to 3/5. So i guess i'm simplifying it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8pi/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah, nevermind i'm wrong misunderstood it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats a little better :) when working with "sin" everytime you add "2pi" you start over. So sin(t + 4pi) equals sin(t)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you just need to determine the angle (t) that has a sin of 3/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly :) sin is periodical , each 2\[\pi\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay thanks :)
