Can I have an example of a function that is integrable on the interval [-1,1], but not continuous on [-1,1]?

\[(\int\limits_{-1}^{0} 1/x^2+1 )+ (\int\limits_{0}^{1} 1/x^2+1)\] can be integrated , not sure of continuity though
