Given the points (4,-3) and (-4,2) A.) find the slope of the line that passes through these two points. B.) find the distance between these two points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given points \((x_1, y_1)\) and \((x_2, y_2)\), the slope can be found by getting rise over run, and the distance using the distance formula (which comes from the Pythagorean theorem: \[ \begin{align} m &= \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\ d &= \sqrt{(y_2-y_1)^2 + (x_2-x_1)^2} \end{align} \]

Can you figure out the answer from that?
