find the missing lengths
OpenStudy (anonymous):
y=13
x=13*(2^0.5)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
as a matter of fact :
y=13*tan(45)
13=x*cos(45)=x/\[\sqrt{2}\]

wait so what do x and y =
OpenStudy (anonymous):
beacause 2 angels of triangle (45 degree) are equale so the corresponding lenghes are equal so y=13 ;then x^2=y^2+13^2=2*(13^2) then x=13*sqrt{2}
OpenStudy (anonymous):
got it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes im going to post another please help

x and y = 13 since they have the same angle
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the missing letters are g, o, l, and e
OpenStudy (anonymous):
g o l e?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
never mind....
OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELP
OpenStudy (anonymous):
lol, there's nothing to do about it. I just like helping out with math problems, I don't care abt how many fans I have andy :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[B = 12 \sqrt{3}\]
you get that by taking sin60 = B/24
OpenStudy (anonymous):
A=24*cos(60)=24*0.5=12
B=24*cos(30)=12*sqrt{3}
OpenStudy (anonymous):
sin(60) = sqrt(3)/2, simplify and you'll get 12 sqrt(3) ^_^
