3y + 5 > 2y + 1 > y - 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solving 3y + 5 > 2y + 1 gives y > -4 solving 2y + 1 > y -1 gives y > -2 solving 3y + 5 > y - 1 gives y > -3 so what are you looking for> The solution for y?
