logs how do you graph y=3log(base5)x
im realllly lost and need help please

y = 3 log5(x)

this is the normal "log" graph but you use the base 5 numbers. then the graph is stretched by a factor of 3 so it becomes "taller" in every spot

it is probably easier to graph the 5^(3x) and then flip it around the y=x line to get your log(5)

why would you graph 5^(3x) ?

3 log5(x) = y

log5(x) = y/3

5^(y/3) = x

sorry, got lost in my head :) this is the inverse you want...its just easier to graph
