how do you find the slope of a line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Simply put, find the difference of both the y and x coordinates and place them in a ratio. Pick two points on the line. Because you are using two sets of ordered pairs both having x and y values, a subscript must be used to distinguish between the two values.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1), from the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)

i think if thts what ur doing

and a subscript

OpenStudy (anonymous):
