A cyclist bikes at a constant speed for 21 miles . He then returns home at the same speed but takes a different route. His return trip takes one hour longer and is 26 miles. find his speed.

I think you can use this:\[Speed = Distance/Time\] you have : - Distance = 26 miles - Time = 1 hour = 3600 secs so plug in the given in the equation and you'll get: \[Speed = 26/3600\] \[Speed = 0.00722 miles/\sec\] I guess, yet I'm not sure Hmmm, since they have said he moved with cst speed , isn't it supposed to stay the same? Speed = 21miles/sec? I'm not sure, but hope I'm right ^_^ , please anyone, correct me if I/m wrong.
