OpenStudy (anonymous):

r =1+cosθ and r =1−sinθ, find their intersection points (r,θ)on0≤θ ≤2π .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in intersection point, the value of r will be the same on both equations, so we can equate those two equations 1+cosθ = 1-sinθ sinθ/cosθ = -1 -> tanθ = -1 therefore θ= 135->3π/4 , and 315-> 7π/4
