If S = {integers} and subset B = {positive integers}, what is B'?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

B' means what?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

inverse? if i recall correctly?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

B' would ne all negative intgeres and 0

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

complement I'd call it and yes, those are the non-positive integers.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i musta had a stroke......

OpenStudy (amistre64):

0 is an integer right..... wholenumbers exclude 0.... ok

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

well, that depends on your definition, whether 0 ϵ ℕ, some do it like this and some don't.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

at firs I was thinking.. the 1st derivative of B? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

loll well it gives me theses to pick as an answer {…,−3, −2, −1} {integers} { } {1, 2, 3, 4, …}

OpenStudy (amistre64):

B' incledes the set {-3,-2,-1}

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i took typing class, really, i did...even got an "A" :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay well i'll pick that one :) loll thanks !
