y = – 3(x – 2)2 + 3 whats the vertex and line of symmetry?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

+2 is the axis of symmetry... you can tell by the (x-2).

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and when x = 2, y = 3 so the vertex is (2,3) if I see it right :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the "proper" way of looking at this is: y = a(x+k)^2 + h where the vertex = (-k,h)??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+h) & k

OpenStudy (amistre64):

picky, picky, picky :) im glad I remember that there was at least an h and a k in there somewhere lol
