I really need help. I am 50 yrs old, and these math problems are killing me. If I do not pass, I do not graduate. I am looking for help with base ten/base five/ base two/ ect. type problems including binary as well. 1st problem is 79 base two.

hhahah

OpenStudy (nikvist):

79:2=39|1 39:2=19|1 19:2=9|1 9:2=4|1 4:2=2|0 2:2=1|0 1:2=0|1 \[79_{10}=1001111_2\]

79 in binary (base 2) is 1001111. The base is how many numbers there are per character (ie base ten has 0-9 which is ten, base 2 has 0-1 which is two) in binary each slot means a different ammount. first 1, then 2 then 4 then 16 and so on (eash slot is *2 of the previous slot) so for your 79 example that means theres a 1, a 2, a 4, a 8, no 16, no 32, and a 64. note that 1+2+4+8+0+0+64=79

OpenStudy (amistre64):

79 in uninary is: 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111

for base five you would have 1,2,3,4 then 10 would be 5. 11 would be 6, 12 would be 7 and so on

google this stuff up, and there you will find some articles how to do it also, I would recomend you to ask someone from the place you are about to graduate at to help you out. Just dont be afraid to ask.
