1. Identify four-steps to solving a linear system in three variables. Do these steps have to be done in a certain order? Are there any steps that could be skipped? Explain why or why not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hellooo......geez I have a headache already!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7/10, but I'd still have a go.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nothing.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

like: a + b + c = 5?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

he said, cute pic.... i think :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sigh......I guess you guys dunno either.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh. Thanks, but what I need is an answer! ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do they expect you to write? You have to change your method to solve each system. Unless you use matrices, but they are pellet.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you talking about a system of equations that consists of 3 variables instead of the normal 2... ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. I think so.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

same steps as before, either eliminate, substitute, or matrix it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can tell you a method that can do it just in two steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need four steps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^ you sure don't want the two steps method?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Personally yes, but academically I have to answer this question the way they want it, which is four steps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so should I bother myself explaining it or no need for that? :)
