I need to verify that I am doing this correctly. I need to solve the exponential equation of: (7^x^2) = 49 I need to make sure that I am doing this correctly. I need to solve the exponential equation of: (7^x)^2 = (49^x+4) with 4 being part of the exponent. Using the quadratic equation....I am coming up with x = 3.236067977 and x = -1.236067978 Is this correct?

I might be misreading your question but i don't think it has a solution. you can try plugging in x = 3.236 and you will see it does not work. i simplify it to: 7^2x = 7^(2x+8) which cannot be
